Turkish army hangs Turkish flags across Jarablus

Occupant Turkish army hung Turkish ags across Jarablus after its occupation of the town.

Occupant Turkish army and affiliate gang groups had occupied Jarablus on August 24. Acting as if Jarablus was a Turkish town, the Turkish state hung Turkish flags across Jarablus.

Footages of a ‘Jarablus Hospital’ sign in Turkish and Arabic and Turkish flags on a building emerged on several websites.

Some TV channels had also recently broadcast footages from Jarablus, in which Erdoğan’s posters could be seen on the walls across the town. In these footages, a gang member was saying “Long live our president Tayyip Erdoğan. May Allah always keep him with us. God willing, he will remain as the president of Turkey and Syria.”

According to local sources, some of the streets in Jarablus have been given Turkish names.

Since the first day of the crises in Syria, Turkey has been supporting many gang groups in order to attack Rojava and occupy North Syria. After the defeat of Turkey-backed groups at the hands of YPG-YPJ, SDF and Manbij Military council fighters, Turkey had intervened in the region on August 24 and occupied Jarablus, al-Rai and parts of Shehba region. The occupant Turkish army has massacred many civilians, and the international community has failed to object to the Turkish state’s policies and massacres.
