Kurds and their friends gathered like every Friday since the 9 October in Nancy to protest the attacks carried out by the Turkish state against Northern and Eastern Syria.

Activists drew attention to the fact that the Turkish state is attempting to carry out an ethnic cleansing and demographic structure of the region.

Activists also emphasized that the people of the region, who paid heavy prices in the war against ISIS, are now facing the danger of new ISIS attacks as the occupation by the Turkish state is actually re-activating the Islamic State.

The importance of national unity for the Kurdish people was also underlined and activists called on South Kurdistan to step up the boycott of Turkish tourism and products.
