Mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish state opened fire from occupied Serêkaniyê. The mercenaries hit 9-year-old Yusuf Y. in the head. The boy was visiting his grandfather's house in the Barış Mahallesi of Ceylanpınar, 400 meters from the border.

Realizing the situation, his family took the little boy to Ceylanpınar State Hospital.

After the intervention, Yusuf Y., who was transferred to a private hospital in the city center of Urfa, continues to be in danger of life.
