A Turkish soldier was wounded in an explosion in Cukurca, a district of Hakkari province.

Local reports say an explosion hit an army checkpoint near Cukurca on the road between Isikli and Cayirli villages. At least one soldier was wounded.

The wounded soldier was taken to Van Military Hospital.

The cause of the explosion is stil not clear.
