Two candidates on the AKP list in Kurdish cities for the general elections that was announced yesterday have withdrawn their nomination.

Abdurrahman Kurt, 6th on the list in Diyarbakır (Amed) and Mehmet Emin Ekmen, 2nd on the list in Batman for the AKP in the upcoming general election have withdrawn their candidacy.

Ekmen announced this morning on his Twitter account that he had withdrawn his candidacy for Batman, while Kurt said on Twitter that: “We have completed our political process in the AKP”.
