The worst scenario is becoming reality in Iraqi Kurdistan as reports are coming through of at least two dead at the demonstration staged in Kirkuk.

According to the first news coming from the city the "Day of Anger" march has begun and immediately clashes between demonstrators and police erupted. At least two demonstrators are said to have died while 20 people have been injured. Six policemen also are reportedly been injured.

Today a number of demonstrations have been planned in various Iraqi cities, included Baghdad.
