Two Kurdish smugglers killed in Iran
Iranian soldiers in the village of Salasa Bawcan opened fire on a group of Kurdish smugglers near the town of Kirmanşah in eastern Kurdistan.
According to the reports received, one smuggler was killed in the attack on Wednesday morning. Soldiers also opened fire on another group who came to the scene after the incident. One more Kurdish villager was killed in the second attack.
Seven Kurds have reportedly been killed by Iranian soldiers in this region in the last two weeks.
According to the figures by Kurdish Human Rights Association of Iran, Iranian soldiers killed at least 37 people in the border region in 2012.
