Judicial process has been started against HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) officials soon after the lifting of parliamentary immunities upon an instruction of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
A file of “criminal records” against a group of HDP deputies and HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş has been sent to Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office already as part of Turkish state's efforts to strip HDP's elected representatives of their immunities.

Nobody should expect us to accept this coup which imposes an open dictatorship. Today, two and a half parties came together and approved this coup."
