Peoples’ Democratic Party (Halkların Demokratik Partisi - HDP) Central Executive Committee met in the early morning in the party headquarters. The committee had the referendum and Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ being stripped of her parliamentary status on the agenda.

In the meeting, the positions emptied by arrests were also filled. Urfa MP Osman Baydemir was appointed in place of party spokesperson Ayhan Bilgen, who was arrested on January 31.
