US Kurds Protest the Massacre of Kurds in Syria

On Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 1:00pm, Kurds and their supporters will be gathering at the White House in Washington, DC to protest the ongoing massacre of the Kurds in Syria by Al Nusra and several other Al Qaeda affiliates. They are seeking international attention and support in their effort to defend their lives and their region against the brutal and increasing attacks by these Islamic extremist groups seeking to establish total dominance and rule in the region.

In their statement the Kurds underlined how "In recent days, there is a humanitarian tragedy unfolding in Syria. Al Qaeda affiliated Jihadist group, Jabhat al-Nusra which is a designated terrorist organization and its ally Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are engaged in violent and horrific attacks on Kurdish civilians. As a result of the heinous attacks of these groups, tens of innocent Kurdish children, women and senior people were massacred in just for their ethnic identity. These Al Qaeda related militants, in the north of Syria, in Kurdistan Region also target Kurdish civilians; kill them by cutting their throats and beheading them. Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS target Kurds because they see Kurds as an obstacle in front of their filthy plans to spread Jihad in Syria and establish an Islamic state with the concealed help of Turkey, a close ally of the United States".

The Kurds in the U.S. "call on you to hear the scream of Kurdish children, innocent women and elderly men and women, and protect them from the brutality of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS; help Kurds to fight against Al Qaeda who is also the enemy of the entire world community".
