Van protest executions in Iran

Serhat People's Initiative has released a statement condemning the execution by Iran of two Kurdish political prisoners last week.

The Initiative pointed out that the colonialist, exploitative and fascist states aimed to suppress the struggle of the Kurdish people through executions and massacres, and that they did this in response to Kurdish people's efforts intended for the solution of the Kurdish question through political and peaceful ways, and the dialogue, negotiation and ceasefires they have introduced so far.

The Initiative remarked that these states were alarmed by Kurdish people's rising national unity in four parts of Kurdistan and their struggle to build a free Kurdistan grounded on their own system.

Calling attention to the walls of shame Turkey is building on its border to Rojava, and the recently increasing execution of Kurdish political prisoners in Iran, the Initiative said the people of Serhat should mobilize against the walls and executions and the dirty fascistic collaboration targeting Kurds.

The Initiative called on the people of Wan to ensure strong participation in the march to be staged to the Iranian border on Monday in protest against the execution of Kurdish political prisoners in Iran.

It also underlined that Kurds will not remain silent in the face of the executions and attacks targeting their achievements.
