The Democracy Vigil organized by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in Van against the appointment of trustees, has reached day 38.

Councillors, HDP (Peace and Democracy Party) deputies and members, Peace Mothers, TJA (Free Women’s Movement) activists and many people attended the Vigil in front of the HDP İpekyolu District Organization building.

Speaking here, HDP Şırnak MP Nuran İmir pointed out that Kurds have again exposed the dirty face of the AKP-MHP bloc.

İmir said; “We have never bowed before these coups, lies and tricks. Those advocating the Kurdish people and democracy are faced with the political genocide operations of the fascist AKP-MHP bloc. The justice system in Turkey has no meaning and importance left.”

The HDP MP continued; “They have eliminated anything pertaining to rights and laws. The struggle we have waged is aimed at reclaiming these. We will be standing with the will of our people despite all the challenging circumstances. We will build the co-presidential system in every street and house and turn the streets into a school of democracy.”

İmir made clear that they would never bow to fascism in four parts of Kurdistan.
