The resistance vigil held by thousands of people at the zero-point of the Suruç-Kobanê border since the beginning of intense ISIS attacks on Kobanê on 15 September continues.

The people joining the vigil in the villages of Elizêr and Dewşên have continued their protest this morning by again forming a human chain along the border of the Elizêr village located next to the Elîşar village on the other side of the border which is currently under the control of ISIS gangs.

The villagers from Elîzêr also joined the human chain. People have frequently chanted the slogans “Bijî berxwedana YPG (Long live the YPG resistance)” “Bijî berxwedana Kobanê (Long live the Kobanê resistance)”, as well as singing songs on the growing Kobanê resistance. The Peace Mothers also took their place in the action.
