This morning in the centre of Hatay center and province of Iskenderun police have carried out many simultaneous raids in several houses. 

A large number of people, including the HDP Iskenderun Provincial co-presidents Muhsine Taşan and Ahmet Çahan, have been taken into custody as the result of the raids.

People could not learn the reason for the detention were taken to the Iskenderun District Security Directorate.
