Wehdê, Xalid and Seedê villages in Kirkuk liberated

The villages of Wehdê, Xalid and Seedê in Kirkuk city of South Kurdistan have been liberated from the ISIS gangs.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office said that the three villages in Dakok district of Kirkuk have been the targets of a joint operation launched by HPG–YJA Star guerrillas and peshmerga forces at 5 am this morning.

Control of all three villages has been taken in the operation which started with an intense aerial bombardment of the international coalition warcraft and heavy weapon attacks.

HPG-BIM added that detailed information regarding the operation will be provided later on.
