The 12th hearing of the case opened against Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chair Leyla Güven accused of "being the executive of an illegal organization" was held at Diyarbakır 9th High Criminal Court.
Evindar Oruç, who gave an open testimony against Güven, attended the hearing through the Audio and Video Information System (SEGBIS).
Oruç said that he knew Leyla Güven as a member of parliament, but did not know her for something specific. He did not know if she had any connections with the PKK and added that he had no contact with her. Oruç said: "As my statement was continuing, law enforcement officers told me that the prosecutor would help me. They said to me: 'If you identify this Leyla Güven, the prosecutor will help you. Then I signed the report so that I could be helped. I clearly state that the Leyla who took me to Istanbul is not Leyla Güven."
The hearing was postponed to 18 November.
