The woman who was detained yesterday in Batman for making a victory sign while the convoy of the Turkish President Erdoğan was passing, has been released. The woman was beaten by the police before being detained.  She has been released today after the legal procedures were completed.

It has been reported that she was asked at the prosecutor’s office why she raised her hand to make a victory sign, while the woman, who wants to remain anonymous, said the victory sign is something universal and cannot be treated as a crime.
