Women marched in Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg and Kassel

Stuttgart

 

Hundreds of women gathered at the Rotebühlplatz in Stuttgart to join the 25 November march organised by Frauenbündnis.

Women marched chanting slogans against male violence and in favour of the Rojava Revolution.

Munich

A 25 November action was held in Munich where women gathered behind the banner with a photo of Kurdish politician Hevrin Xelef, who was murdered in Rojava.

"Jin, Jiyan, Azadi", "Biji YPJ", "Women, life, freedom" slogans were chanted by women. The march was addressed by a representative of Sara Women's Assembly. 

Hamburg

Women marched in Hamburg as well, meeting in Altona.

Chanting slogans against male violence, women in Hamburg carried a banner with a photo of Sakine Cansız who was murdered in Paris on 9 January 2013 along with KNK Paris Representative Fidan Doğan and Youth Movement member Leyla Şaylemez.

Women also blocked a busy road for a couple of hours before ending the action.

Kassel

Women in Kassel also marched on 25 November. The action was promoted by Women Defend Rojava, Frauen Haus, Imigranten, Die link, YJX and Kurdish young women.
