Writer Seydo Turgut was taken into custody on Tuesday because of some posts he shared on social media.

Turgut was detained in the town of Viranşehir in the province of Urfa and was remanded in custody on Wednesday and sent to Urfa T-Type Prison.

Meanwhile, Hilvan HDP District co-chair Mehmet Ogur and two more people whose names were not disclosed were detained in Birecik.
