DBP Adana Provincial co-chair Mehmet Yaşık called on people to cast their vote on Sunday, as “one vote can make the difference”.
DBP Adana Provincial co-chair Mehmet Yaşık, addressed the people who still had not decided whether to go to the polls on Sunday.
He said that every vote counts, and that things can be changed.
Yaşık said that in fact the AKP-MHP alliance is coming to an end and underlined how they have dragged the country into a deep economic and social crisis.
Yaşık said that there is a chance offered by Sunday’s local election and people should use it to go against this alliance and give an opportunity to democratic forces.
Yaşık told people to vote strategically and support candidates of the Democracy Forces in the West of the country in order to get rid of the AKP.
Stressing that the election campaign has reached its end, Yaşık said: “I specifically want to address the people who are still not sure of whether to go to the polls on Sunday. I tell them, go and cast your vote because each vote counts. One single vote can change many things. Every vote, which is not used, means a further escalation of the war.”
Yaşık ended his remarks by saying: "We believe that on the morning of 1 April a new real spring will begin.”
