Young Kurdish activists stage demonstrations in Marseille

The Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement carried out two separate actions in Marseille to protest the Turkish occupation attacks.

The Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger-TCŞ) activists gathered in the Belle de Mai and Marignane regions of Marseille on Saturday night to protest the Turkish state invasion attacks in Kurdistan.

In the Belle de Mai region, young people gathered with the slogan "Stop the invasion" and closed the road to traffic for a time.

Activists were carrying photos of the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan as well as PKK and TCŞ flags and opened banners saying "Freedom for Öcalan, status for Kurdistan" and "Fascist Turkish state out of Kurdistan". The youth closed the road to traffic for about 10 minutes before ending their action chanting slogans.

A second action was held in the Marignane region. Young people here hung a banner with the words "Defend Maxmur" on an overpass and drew attention to the attacks of the fascist Turkish state in South Kurdistan.
