Þerzan Kurt the young student assaulted by ultranationalists in Muðla on 11 May, has been pronounced dead today. The Kurdish student had been seriously wounded by a gun shoot and was transported to Izmir hospital where his conditions have been declared very serious by doctors. Kurt was in a coma and never came out of it. On 19 May he was pronounced brain dead but his other vital organs where still functioning. This morning these also ceased to function. The young student's body will be transferred to Batman where his funeral will be held.
