YPG/YPJ killed 31 ISIS gang members and confiscated numerous military equipments in Rojava. YPG Media Center stated that the Commander Rubar Qamishlo Initiative aiming to liberate the western outskirts of Cizîr Canton continues in full force on its 31st day.

YPG stated that the second phase of the initiative continues to the southwest of Serêkaniyê and the villages of Şemmas and Hesna ya Rojhilat as well as the hamlets of El Katum, Ebû Elî and two other unidentified settlements have been liberated from ISIS occupation. YPG/YPJ killed 21 gang members and destroyed 1 military vehicle, 5 kalashnikovs and some ammunition that used to belong to ISIS. YPG/YPJ also confiscated 2 kalashnikovs and 1 B7 rocket propeller.

KOBANÊ RESISTANCE CONTINUES ON ITS 264th DAY

Emphasizing the continuation of Kobanê resistance on its 264th day, YPG stated that they confiscated 1 14,5 mm machine rifle, 1 kalashnikov, 1 BKC machine gun, 1 B7 rocket propeller and 1 military vehicle during their search and sweep operation in Qeynter village of Kobanê.

9 GANG MEMBERS KILLED IN TİL BERAK

In their statement, YPG said that ISIS gangs attacked the villages of Hiweyş and Til Haydar to the southwest of Til Berak last night. YPG/YPJ fighters repelled this attack where they wounded 4 and killed 7 gang members. 3 kalashnikovs, 1290 kalashnikov bullets, 43 kalashnikov clips, 2 BKC machine guns, 600 BKC bullets, 1 B7 rocket propeller, 7 B7 rockets, 10 hand-made mines, 4 raxt rifles and 9 hand grenades were also confiscated by YPG/YPJ.
