Western Kurdistan's People's Defense Units (YPG) fighters have foiled an attempted suicide attack on YPG headquarters on Friday afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses speaking to ANHA news agency, YPG fighters warned and stopped a suspected suicide bomber they noticed walking towards the YPG headquarters in Çelaxa town of Girke Lege city. The suicide bomber -thought to be a member of the Al Nusra Front- detonated his explosives 200 meters before the YPG building at around 14:00 local time. He died at the scene, giving no harm to any others around.
