Clashes between YPG (Kurdish People's Defense Units) and al-Qaeda-linked armed groups are continuing in the Western Kurdistan areas of Kobani, Tirbespiyê and Çelaxa.
Til Ebyad (Girê Spî): clashes were reported in the village of Susikê. YPG managed to clear the area and seized weaponry.

Kobani: Clashes lasted long and the al-Qaeda-linked groups used heavy weaponry. Local sources report that the armed group Al Nusra is allegedly carrying wounded to Turkey. Allegedly the fighters tried to cross the border after cutting their beards.

Çelaxa: Clashes reported but not further news available at present.

Tirbespiyê: Clashes reported this morning.

Serêkaniyê: Finally could spend a relatively quiet night after the heavy clashes.
