Three villages and a hill have been liberated in an operation south of Kobanê.

YPG Press Center announced in a written statement that the Kobanê resistance against the occupation attempt of ISIS gangs continued on the 214th day.

The statement said that the villages of Bîrhemlî, Gewande and Dafiya and Martyr Haci hill have been cleansed of ISIS gangs and liberated as a result of an operation south of Kobanê last night.

6 members of the gang groups were killed in the operation, as much as ascertained, YPG said.

The statement added that two fighters of the YPG/YPJ (People's /Women's Defense Units) who played a major role in the operation have lost their lives.
