The statement said: “YPS Martyr Mehmet Yavuzel Revenge Unit members carried out an action with a molotov cocktail targeting an armoured vehicle involving in the murder of Kurds in Cudi, in Cizre on 11 June.”

Stating that the armoured vehicle was left in flames the YPS added: “As a result of the action, the number of dead and injured police officers were reported although the numbers could not be clarified. The members of our Unit returned safely to base.”
