The Supreme Election Council (YSK) in Turkey has rejected a complaint by the HDP regarding President Erdoğan.
The YSK rejected by majority vote an application by the HDP claiming that election security had been violated and that the President had exceeded his Constitutional powers by campaigning on behalf of a party. This fourth complaint by the HDP was rejected by a majority vote, unlike the three previous applications, that were rejected unanimously.
The YSK explained its decision by citing legislation, saying the Supreme Election Council did not have the authority to regulate the activities of the President.
