People of Qamishlo and Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) are protesting Erdoğan’s threats against Northern Syria.

QAMISHLO

Kurdish, Arab and Syriac peoples in Qamishlo have started a march in response to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s occupation threats against Northern Syria with the motto “No to Turkish occupation”.

After gathering in the neighborhood of al-Suryan, the mass started a march, carrying banners that read “No to new Ottoman invasion”, “No to Erdoğan terror”, “Long live the unity of peoples”, and chanting “Murderer Erdoğan” and “We won’t leave our lands”.

The mass will march to the United Nations representation Office in Seyyahi neighborhood and make a statement to the press here.

GIRE SPI

In the canton of Gire Spi (Tal Abyad), hundreds of people started a march in response to Turkish President Erdoğan’s threats. The banners carried by the demonstrators read “Peoples of Syria say no to Turkish occupation” and “Stand up against Turkish occupation”.

During the march from al-Alam Boulevard to al-Iskan Boulevard, people condemned the occupation threats of the Turkish state.
