Social Defense Forces to give special role to youth

After the barbarian attacks against the city of Kobanê by the DAESH (ISIS) mercenaries, the HPC was officially set up.

The Kobanê Canton Social Defense Forces (HPC) has taken many decisions at its first conference, which took place three years after its foundation.

The conference, which was attended by over 400 delegates, discussed about the need to establish a new council on the work of the defense forces and new people joining them.

The decisions taken by the Conference also established that all members should receive military and ideological education sessions.

The role of young people has been stressed and the Conference made sure initiatives are taken to this end.

A new council of 35 members was established in the conference which took place on 19 August.

The council, established to strengthen the cantonal defense, will work in coordination with the other councils set up 8 months ago.

Members of the Social Defense Forces defended the city center and joined forces with Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

On the other hand, the new structure provided lessons on defense and self-defense tactics to citizens in many villages.
