16 more Coronavirus cases registered in Syria

The Syrian Health Ministry stated that 16 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Syria, while four cases have recovered.

The Syrian Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 16 new cases of coronavirus have been registered.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), those affected are from among the Syrian arrivals from abroad, six of which are from Emirates, two from Sudan, four from Russia, and four from Kuwait.

The Ministry said in a statement that the number of coronavirus infections in Syria reached 86 until today. 41 of those infected have recovered while four have died.

The Ministry has not registered any local coronavirus cases in Syria since the beginning of May, SANA said.

On March 22nd, the first case of Coronavirus was registered in Syria for a person who had come from abroad.
