The Syrian Health Ministry announced on Monday that 26 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were registered in the country, while 10 patients have recovered while 4 others have passed away.

According to Syrian official news agency SANA, the Ministry said in a statement that the total number of the registered cases in Syria reached 522 so far. 154 of those infected have recovered while 29 have passed away.

The first case of Coronavirus was registered in Syria on March 22nd for a person who had come from abroad, while the first death was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
