The training cycle in Girê Spî, named after 'Martyr Nebî Mihemed Şêxo (Çiya Kobanê)' who fell in the Raqqa operation, has finished today. During the training cycle which lasted for a month, 288 fighters were provided with military classes by special units under the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

A ceremony was held to mark the end of the training cycle, attended by SDF commanders Şêx Mihemed Şihadê and Sabir Dêrik as well as several commanders and fighters.

SDF commander Şêx Mihemed Şihadê congratulated the new recruits following their military ceremony.

Following the speech, SDF fighters took their oath and officially joined the SDF ranks.
