29 bodies were found in a mass grave discovered near the Manbij Democratic Civil Administration building.

The health and safety teams were informed when human remains were found during the sewerage works carried out by the Manbij People's Municipality employees. During the excavation it was determined that the area in question was a mass grave.

An investigation was launched to find out who the remains belonged to. According to the first information obtained, the all corpses had their hands tied behind their backs. This strengthens the possibility that the bodies were buried by ISIS mercenaries.
