5 women injured in Turkish bombing of cotton field near Zirgan

The invading Turkish state continues its genocidal attacks against North-East Syria.

Turkish state forces bombed civilians in the village of Bişêriyê to the east of the Zirgan town in Heseke Canton of North-East Syria.

The attack was directed against locals working in a cotton field in the village and left 5 women injured, who were first taken to the Dirbêsiyê Hospital and then referred to hospitals in Heseke.

The injured women were identified as Reksa Salih Fewaz (50), Xedîce Îdan El Temir (40), Fereh Ednan (25), Zêna Hemûd (20), Cûmana Hemad.

On the other hand, the villages of Bobî, Mişêrfe and Reibat were also shelled by the Turkish army. Details of the aggression were not immediately available.

In the meantime, the district of Ain Issa and many villages in the Euphrates Region were subjected to heavy shelling by tanks.

The villages of Xalidiyê, Cideydê and Seyda in Ain Issa, and the villages of Huriye, Ebd Koy and Salokê to the West of the Gire Spi Canton were targeted by the occupation forces.

During the same hours, the villages of Xerbîsan and Cîşan to the east of Kobane and the villages of Sêlim, Xurxuri and Ziyarêt to the west, on the border with Northern Kurdistan, were also bombed.

On the other hand, reports are coming through of UAV and warplane activity over Ain Issa, Kobane and its countryside.
