A mine planted by Turkish-backed mercenaries has exploded in Xirbet Shiir village 12 km from the town of Til Temir (Tal Tamr) in northern Syria.
The mine exploded during passage of a vehicle carrying repair crew who worked on a power line damaged by heavy attacks on Til Temir-Zirgan region by the Turkish army and allied mercenaries.
Seven people were injured as a result of the explosion, one of whom was hit by a shrapnel piece in the eye. The injured have been taken to hospital in Til Temir.
