The Press Centre of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement providing information about the ongoing resistance against the Turkish army and allied mercenaries in North-East Syria.

In response to the ongoing attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched on Thursday an operation targeting the Turkish occupation bases in the villages of “Bab Al-Faraj” and “Abdul Hai” in the town of “Zarkan.” According to the SDF, several Turkish-backed mercenaries were eliminated or wounded in the attack, although their exact numbers remain unconfirmed. Three ambulances were seen entering the “Bab Al-Faraj” base to evacuate the eliminated and injured mercenaries.

On the Deir Hafer front, Turkish occupation UCAVs conducted reconnaissance flights over the region and one of the SDF positions was shelled in the village of “Al-Imam”. In response, SDF fighters targeted the mercenary positions and vehicles, and our Martyr Haroun Units successfully destroyed a military vehicle belonging to the mercenaries.

On the Tishrin Dam front, at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Turkish occupation mercenaries launched an attack on the Syriatel Hill. SDF fighters responded effectively, with the Martyr Harun Units targeting a gathering of mercenaries resulting in the elimination and injury of several mercenaries and forcing the remaining mercenaries to flee the area. Following this foiled attack, the Turkish occupation bombarded the area using warplanes and UCAVs, yet no damage was inflicted on SDF forces.

The SDF added that their forces also destroyed a weapons depot belonging to Turkish mercenaries in the village of “Al-Sakawiyeh,” resulting in the elimination of several mercenaries.
