El Hisen, a member of Raqqa Civilian Council’s Office for Education, was killed when booby-trapped ISIS mine exploded during his visit to Kebes Primary School in Ayn Issa.
El Hisen was inspecting preparations in Ayn Issa for the upcoming semester. He played a major role in rebuilding education system in Ayn Issa after it was liberated from ISIS.
El Hisen was buried in his birth place in Kebes.
