The annual meeting of women’s umbrella organisation Kongreya Star is taking place in Rimelan town of Girke Lege. The two-day meeting is participated by 80 officials of Kongreya Star from across North and East Syria.
“TURKEY WANTS TO REVIVE ISIS”
Speaking at the meeting, Kongreya Star Coordination Member Asya Abdullah said the following:
“The Middle East is the cradle of diverse civilizations and cultures and it is under huge military, social, political and cultural attacks on daily basis. All the issues experienced by the societies in the Middle East are the result of the dominant mentality against co-existence and the will of peoples. This mentality has given the way to the disintegration of the peoples, supression of freedom and women. Today women are fighting against the dangers and attacks targeting the peoples of the Middle East.”
Calling on all women to enhance the struggle for the protection of co-existence and the gains of the peoples, Abdullah emphasised that the occupant Turkish state tried to revive ISIS in North and East Syria, adding; “The Turkish state insists on destroying the democratic system built in our regions. Our people are faced with the threat of ISIS. The Turkish state resorts to any and all kinds of violation and torture against our people, subjecting women, children and people to violence. In addition, families of ISIS mercenaries are settled in our regions as part of efforts to change the demography of Syria. Achievement of peace and democracy in Syria depends on the Turkish state’s leave from Syrian lands.”
CALL FOR ACTION TO END TURKISH INVASION
Asya Abdullah called on all those forces that seek a solution to the Syrian crisis to act against the violations of the Turkish state, saying; “On this basis, Russia, as a party to the agreements fort he protection of Syrian territorial integrity, must stop the invasion of the Turkish state.”
Kongreya Star Coordination Member Asya Abdullah called on all societies to work for decisions defending peoples.
