Afrin Executive Council and Democratic Administration released a statement about the attacks of the Turkish army and gangs against Afrin and called on all democratic forces to support the resistance.

The statement by Afrin administration is as follows;

“The Turkish state led by AKP and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been aiding jihadist terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS since the start of the Syrian crisis.

For 16 days now, the invading Turkish army and terrorist groups continue their attacks against the people of Afrin. As a result of the attacks, hundreds of civilians, mostly women and children, have died or suffered injuries. SDF fighters are mounting a historic resistance against the barbarity of the invading army.

As Afrin Executive Council and Democratic Administration, we salute the SDF resistance and the Resistance of the Age in Afrin. We call on all democratic forces in and out of Syria to continue their support for the Resistance of the Age.

We call on Russia to support supporting the terrorist Turkish state against the people of Afrin. Russia is also reponsible for the massacres committed by the Turkish state against civilians. We call upon the International Coalition, the United States, United Nations Security Council, European Union, and civil society organizations to stand against the savagery of the invading Turkish state against the Afrin region.”
