Aid sent from Sulaymaniyah and Kobanê finally reaches earthquake victims in Aleppo

The aid sent by the people of Sulaymaniyah and the people of Kobanê to the earthquake victims in Aleppo and Shehba was blocked by the Damascus government for about a month. The aid will be delivered to the victims in the coming days.

30 trucks of aid sent by the people of Sulaymaniyah in Bashur Kurdistan and the people of Kobanê to the earthquake victims a month ago reached Shehba and Aleppo on Thursday. The aid consists of food, children's milk, clothing, blankets, medicine and health needs. The trucks were blocked by the Damascus government for weeks.

The Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Humanitarian Affairs Committee received the aid of 20 trucks that passed through the Ehdas Gate between the cities of Aleppo and Shehba on 4 April. The remaining 10 trucks of aid were sent to the neighbourhoods of Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiye in Aleppo.

According to the information provided by the Social Affairs Committee, the aid sent by the people of Sulaymaniyah will be distributed through the assembly and communes in Shehba in the next few days.
