Almost 5,000 people tested positive for Covid in North East Syria

According to the last statement issued by the Health Committee of the North and East Syria Autonomous Administration, 4,845 people have tested positive to coronavirus in North and East Syria since April. 130 people have died.

The Health Committee of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria said that 3 more people died in the North and East Syria regions due to coronavirus, while 12 people recovered.

Ciwan Mustafa, co-chair of the North and East Syria Autonomous Administration Health Committee, sais that the 3 deceased people were women and they were from Derik.

Ciwan Mustafa noted that 107 more people in North and East Syria tested positive to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, 65 men and 42 women.

The distribution of the cases by cities is as follows: Dêrik 26, Hesekê 19, Qamishlo 13, Amudê 3, Girkê Legê 2, Çilaxa 2, Kobanê 14, Tabqa 13, Deir Ez-zor 5, Manbij 5, Shehba 3, Raqqa 2.

So far 4,845 people have tested positive to coronavirus in North and East Syria since April. 130 people have died and 744 have recovered.
