Yet another refugee has been killed by ISIS in the notorious Hol Camp.
The Hol (Al-Hawl) Camp in the far southwest of Heseke (al-Hasakah) countryside, has witnessed the death of an Iraqi refugee who was shot dead by an ISIS member in the first section of the camp, in the early hours of Friday, amid escalating murder crimes by ISIS, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
The observatory noted that the number of murder crimes since the end of the first phase of the security campaign has reached 20, a worrying indication amid fears of a resurgence of crimes in the camp.
On July 23, a series of crimes continued in the camp where SOHR reported the death of three Iraqis refugees, including a woman in a shooting by ISIS cells in the past few hours in the first and the second sections of the camp.
On July 14, SOHR documented the death of a female Iraqi refugee in the camp in the far south-eastern region of Heseke, where ISIS cells are widely prevalent, after a 14-year-old Turkish boy shot her dead in the camp’s first section. The boy was arrested after the murder.
