The Arab Youth Movement issued a press statement to condemn the attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish state against Northern Syria and the ongoing isolation regime imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The Arab Youth Movement and dozens of members of the Arab Youth Association joined the press conference held in the village of Kefernaya in the Shehba Canton.
Mihemed Weys, a member of the Arab Youth Movement, read the statement. "The isolation regime imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan - he said - is actually meant as a practice against all the peoples who are fighting for freedom".
Weys added the aim of isolation is to break the will of the peoples. "Our will - he added - is based on Öcalan's ideas and will never be broken. Our people have never accepted to surrender and are ready to do anything, no matter the price, for freedom and dignity".
Weys pointed out that the Turkish government hoped to achieve the dream of creating a new Ottoman project with the attacks it carried out. "Arab young people will not accept the implementation of a new Ottoman project: we promised that to our people and to our martyrs. With unity and solidarity, we will liberate all the occupied areas, beginning with Afrin from the Turkish state".
