Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham gangs attacked the YPG/YPJ positions in Iska village in Efrîn's Sherawa district from the Semane Fortress north of Dar Ize. Clashes erupted upon the response of the YPG/YPJ fighters.

According to reports from the region, the gangs launched a wave of attacks with mortars and heavy weaponry at 23:30 last night and ensuing clashes continued till 05:00 this morning.

YPG/YPJ fighters repelled the attacks but no details are available yet regarding the outcomes of the clashes.

Fighters of the YPG/YPJ had repelled a similar attack of the Ahrar Al-Sham gangs on June 13, as result of which 48 ISIS members were killed, 7 vehicles were destroyed and a large quantitity of ammunition was seized.
