Attacks on Shehba repelled, 16 more gang members killed
Attacks of the Turkish army and affiliated gangs that seek to invade villages in Rojava's Shehba region have been repelled and 16 more gang members have been killed.
The invading Turkish army and gangs under their command attacked the positions of Revolutionary Forces in the villages of Şêx Hîlal, Eyn Deqnê, Erfad (Til refet), Şêx Îsa, Herbil, Semûqa, Til Medîq and Hilêsa as well as surroundings of the Shehba Dam last night. Concurrently with the attacks, the Turkish army shelled the mentioned areas.
Fierce clashes that erupted upon the response of Revolutionary Forces continued into Thursday morning when the attacks were finally repelled.
After suffering a blow during the fighting with Revolutionary Forces, the gangs bombed the village of Til Cicanê with heavy weaponry at 04:00 this morning. During 4 hours of clashes in this area, 16 members of the Turkey-backed gangs were killed.
