‘Avesta Xabûr Cemetery of Martyrs’ opens in Afrin
A cemetery of martyrs has opened in Afrin in memory of Avesta Xabûr who carried out an action of self-sacrifice against Turkish forces last week.
The Assembly of Martyrs’ Families in Afrin Canton has opened a cemetery of martyrs named after YPJ combatant Avesta Xebur who carried out an action of self-sacrifice against Turkish forces in Hemam village in Afrin’s Jindires district on January 27.
Civilians and fighters martyred in Turkish attacks are laid to rest in the ‘Avesta Xabûr Cemetery of Martyrs’ which is located in the village of Kefer Shîlê.
15 people have been buried in the cemetery so far.
