Death toll from earthquakes rises to 3,383 in Syria

The death toll from the earthquakes that struck northern Kurdistan and Syria on Monday has climbed to 3,383, and the number of injured to 5,302.

The death toll and the number of injured keeps increasing on the fifth day after the earthquakes that devastated North Kurdistan and Syria on Monday.

So far, 2,300 people have lost their lives and 2,950 more people have been injured in the regions occupied by the Turkish state and its mercenaries. It is reported that the death toll is very likely to increase, since many people are still trapped under the rubble.

The Minister of Health of the Damascus government, Dr. Hesen Muhammed El Habash, reported that 1,347 people lost their lives and 2,295 people were injured as of yesterday. The figures reported only cover the areas controlled by the Damascus government.
