The fourth Conference of the Democratic Society Academies was held at the Martyr Yekta Herekol Academy in Tirbesipiyê, Qamishlo.

Intellectuals and academics from Northern and Eastern Syria joined the conference. A video was presented about the work of the academies and the two-year activity report was read. According to the report, 600 training programs were opened for 15 thousand people.

In the comments made in the conference, it was pointed out the importance of increasing the joint works between communes and academies.

In addition, participants evaluated the work carried out in Afrin and Shehba regions.

The positive things as well as the shortages of the work in the field of education in the new liberated regions were assessed. Following the discussion of the reports, the statute of the Democratic Society Academies was read and approved.
