Dirbesiye people against the isolation of Öcalan

People of northern Syria are protesting against the aggravated isolation imposed on the Kurdish leader.

Hundreds of people took to the streets in Dirbesiye, northern Syria on Monday and staged a march in protest at the aggravated isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan by the Turkish state.

Displaying banners and chanting slogans against the isolation of the Kurdish leader, the crowd marched from the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Centre to the district center where a rally was held.

Speaking here, Syrian Revolutionary Youth Organisation Executive member Rodi Heval condemned the Turkish state’s repressive policy against the Kurdish people.

Urging human rights organisations to fulfil their responsibilities against the isolation of Öcalan, Rodi Heval called for increased struggle to counter the inhuman practice implemented against the Kurdish leader.

Heval vowed that their struggle will continue until the isolation is removed.
